Welcome here!

I am a freelance artist based in the north-west of France. Together with my husband and 4 children, I live out in the countryside in an old stone house surrounded by fields with the occasional deer passing by!

I grew up in a British family, but have mostly lived in France.

I have been passionate about drawing and painting since childhood, and after working with children and having my own, it was time for me to let my creativity flow more!

I essentially like to work with watercolours and fine pens, but I also use coloured pencils and gouache paint, using each individually or together as mixed media.

My main inspiration is nature and daily life…I simply love to combine the natural environment and childhood imagination! They awaken so many memories and touch the inner child that we so often burry away as adults.

As a child, I used to revel when going through Cicely Mary Baker’s flower fairy books or Molly Brett’s forest animal tales, and enjoyed so much Alfie and Annie Roses’s stories from Shirley Hughes. They are all definitely the core inspiration of my own art.
